About Course
ILLUSTRATOR
Illustrator is a vector drawing program. It is often used to draw illustrations, cartoons, diagrams, charts and logos. Unlike bitmap images that stores information in a grid of dots, Illustrator uses mathematical equations to draw out the shapes. This makes vector graphics scalable without the loss of resolution. Adobe Illustrator is a professional quality graphic art program. Its applications are diverse, from creating print to web graphics. Although the program is complex and requires a significant amount of time to truly master, it is quite easy to learn the basics and create work with a professional appearance. During advanced fashion design training, Illustrator is introduced as the digital alternative for creating flat sketches wherein the details are presented with proportionate measures, neat stitch lines and cut specifications.
